How to Organize Warranties, Manuals & Receipts

I don’t keep ALL of my receipts in here, only expensive items that I might return, need to show proof, might break, or sell one day. Small purchase receipts are kept somewhere else. A lot of warranties and manuals can be downloaded online (and thus the physical manual can probably be chucked or recycled), however, I’m still stuck in the stone age and prefer “physical” paper I can see, touch, and hold

I couldn’t find them either after a ton of looking but found these and think it will work. Go to Amazon and type in Smead 3 ring envelope/ 3 pack I ordered and they were under 4 dollars to get a 3 pack.

Hey there I don’t know if this would help but what I do is I take everything and like you I put it in a sandwich size ziploc bag and label it with the product name/model number (iPod touch 1st gen) then each of those bags are stored together in a photo box (you know the ones with metal label holders on the front) that is labeled with the word accessories. Also if you have a lot of cords like extension cords or long cables you should look into a product called CordPro.

Omg I just moved into a new house and wanted a BETTER way to organize my manuals because in my last house used the accordion style binders and those definitely did not do the job. So I am going to try this with the new manuals. Loving all the videos I have watched so far.

I love this idea and I bought some supplies already. I needed more poly pocket for binders though. What do you do with the boxes of the expensive stuff you buy? I usually keep them in case I need to return them, but I know they’re bulky.

I organize receipts and general expenses by scanning them and organizing them in Evernote. You can even organize them with tags, so you can find them immediately whenever you want to.

Good information on this video. Went out yesterday to get the pocket binders and could not find just the clear ones at Staples. Do they come individual to purchase or as a group of 10? Myra
